Even though we haven’t had fresh snow in a week, and it’s been in the 60’s a few days. Mt.Herman Rd and Rampart Rd and their spurs can still be deceivingly dangerous. I’ve had to recover 11 vehicles since the last snowfall up there. The snow is still deep in most sections and the warm weather makes it sloppy. At night when the temps drop everything refreezes turning it to ice. If you get out of the main tracks you risk getting sucked into the powdery drifts…

This is the difference between using a tow strap and using a kinetic rope.
The bobcat worked on this for 45 minutes.. I showed up and with one pull had the loaded truck and trailer unstuck. Choose wisely.

Happy customers..
I enjoy reading what my customers think of me. This customer had a mishap on a washed out trail up on the mountain in the middle of the night. Since the vehicle was on its side it wouldn’t start and he quickly ran his battery down trying to winch out. I don’t care what time it is, if you need help, call me.

Keeping our mountain safe.
We went for a weekend ride in the mountains and came across an open flame fire . We decided to put it out. This was only the first of 3 we put out yesterday. Forest service was up tending to the bigger ones.

Feedback wanted for Future YouTube Channel!
Hey everyone, we are experimenting with videos to launch a YouTube channel. Keep in mind this is the very beginning of our journey. We are looking for POSITIVE and CONSTRUCTIVE feedback on this video from you, our potential future viewers. We are currently limited on camera equipment and high-tech editing software. So, video quality is something that will improve with time. Please keep the feedback focused on the video format and not critiques of the rescue itself. Here are a few of the feedback questions we are looking for:
1) How do you like the format? With the opening of a title pictures, and video, then end with an information picture.
2) How do you like the narration? We are trying to talk through the video to explain what is going on. Is this something you like? Do you have suggestions for improvement?
3) What types of videos or information would you like to see on an Off-Roading channel?
4) Do you have any ideas or suggestions for a new channel that you think would make us unique?
Don’t wait all night for help
This customer got stuck at 1am, called his roadside assistance and it took until 7:15 am to get ahold of me. This is unacceptable. If you want service and don’t want to wait until your insurance company gets around to it, call me. I was on location within 15 minutes and had the vehicle back on the road in no time. Unfortunately I’m seeing this lack of respect from the insurance companies more and more lately. You can request your provider contacts me, or call me and you can send the bill receipt to be refunded to your insurance.
