It has come to my attention that a couple of people have used a certain other roadside assistance provider in the area and have had bad experiences with them. This other company has taken calls and not shown up and ignored the customers calls. Leaving them sitting for hours. I’m not going to name this other company. I will guarantee this will never happen here at Beast Off-road & Recovery. I feel bad for the customers that had to wait, and apologized many times for my competition letting them down. When you call your roadside assistance provider and request assistance, they then put out a dispatch and the first to accept gets the call. This is not always the closest or the most responsible company around. But you have another choice, you may call and request that Beast Off-road & Recovery be the one to come to help, directly thru your roadside provider. I will call you directly and inform you of my ETA. And I always answer the phone. I will do everything I can to get you back on your way.
Another mountain recovery.

This Toyota driver found out just how tricky one of these trails can be, tire placement is everything on this one. Off camber and loose soil make this section a little sketchy. Since I’ve recovered multiple rigs from this exact spot it was a breeze. This could have gone bad in a big way if it would have slid a little farther down the hill.

Recovery on the mountain.
Since the snow fall was minimal, I decided to go hunting for it in the mountain. Lucky for this guy I did. It would of been awhile before anyone would of found him. Lucky for him I saw tracks going in and not coming out, so I went to investigate. He was off camber between trees front and rear.

A little redirect with the winch to pull him from between the trees and set up up again from a different angle to pull him out. He was very thankful I showed up.

Clean up on the mountain.
This morning I had another opportunity to work with Focus on the Forest , helping with an abandoned homeless camp cleanup. These pop up a lot on the mountain. Luckily this one wasn’t as bad as a lot have been. The fresh snow made it a little slick. But this spot is now clean again. We just about filled up the truck with trash.
If you would like to volunteer to help with a clean up, you can look them up online and check out any scheduled clean up dates.

Stay the trail.

Loaded 20′ truck and ice… Stuck between a rock and a hard place
This unfortunate truck renter had a little bad luck thanks to ice and snow. The rear of the truck was less than my finger away from the shed and the front bumper was about 8 inches from the tree, with a large boulder at it’s base. He was maneuvering it to unload and slid sideways on the slope when the tires lost traction on the ice. I had to winch the truck sideways without damaging the shed or the truck. Four different winches from different locations got it out and spun around to be able to unload into the garage. Morrison CO. still has lots of snow on the ground.
